This is our classroom. Each of us have jobs which are assigned during circle time. We also post the birthdays and update the calendar during circle time. Over the year we studied many famous people such as Christopher Columbus. Our reading improved and now we can read chapter books. We learned about the lifecycles and habitat of different animals and drew anthills showing underground ant life. We studied the solar system and the Universe. We used the computer to draw pictures and add them to text. We researched and created an historical colonial quilt. We created a model of Plimoth Plantation after visiting and created many projects about Mesopotamia. We know how to form all of our cursive letters, wrote lots of stories, studied multiplication and division and followed current events with Time for Kids. We had a great time in third grade and learned a lot too!
